File and URL Scan

The Cyberno MultiScanner platform provides a web-based user interface in addition to its API, allowing users to directly scan suspicious files and URLs. This interface delivers all core scanning capabilities in a simple, intuitive environment ideal for users who want to analyze files or URLs without writing any code.

File Scan

To scan a file, simply go to the platform’s main page and select "Upload File for Scanning". Then follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the "Choose File" button.
  2. Select the file you want to scan from your device.
  3. Choose your preferred antivirus engine from the list.
  4. Click "Start Scan" to upload the file to the server.

Once the file is uploaded, the system generates a scan ID (GUID) and begins the analysis process.
When the scan is complete, the final report including the file’s status, results from each antivirus engine, hashes, and all technical details will be displayed on the same page.

URL Scan

The Cyberno MultiScanner platform also provides the capability to analyze suspicious web addresses. In the "URL Scan" section, users can simply enter the desired URL, and the system will evaluate it using multiple security engines.

After submitting the URL, the system forwards it to various anti-malware engines for analysis, and the final results including its safety status and detailed threat evaluation will be displayed to the user.

View Scan Progress and Results

Once a scan is initiated whether for a file or a URL the processing status is shown on the same page. After the scan is completed, users can access comprehensive results, including:

  1. Overall scan verdict
  2. Detailed output from each antivirus or analysis engine
  3. Associated file hashes
  4. YARA analysis reports
  5. Upload and scan timestamps

This section provides users with complete insight into the security assessment, enabling informed decision-making regarding potential risks.

Search Section

All scans performed through the web interface whether file scans or URL scans are fully logged in the Search section. Here, you can:

  1. View the results of previous scans
  2. Retrieve past scan data using a file hash
  3. Open detailed reports for any scan
  4. Avoid re-scanning duplicate files by accessing previously stored results
